Hey Ash, Watcha Playin' is a popular online web series created by Anthony and Ashley Burch. two dysfunctional siblings with whom gaming dementia reaches bizarre yet hillarious heights. I recently created some 'scanners-esque' visual effects for the series in the episode Uncharted 2: Among Thieves in which Ashley discovers quite literally a mind expanding revelation. Anthony has since milked the shot on several occasions.

Some new work has been added to the site! 'Ip Man' starring Donnie Yen, will be having its UK release in October 2009, with that I created some content for the Blu Ray release including a martial arts centric interview with Guro Dan Inosanto.
It's a fascinating look into the technicalities of Martial Arts and especially handy if you want some tips on how to grasp the basics. Footage was shot in L.A, then sent all the way over to Blighty for the edit, making it's rounds firstly on HD-CAMSR and then Apple's Pro-Res format. Effects were then created in After Effects for the theatrical trailer.

It's alive! For those of you visiting this site, welcome. The long awaited re-launch has finally occurred thanks in no small part to the many talents of Glenn Hitchcock, who generously built this site from the ground up. Visit Glenn's website if sweet looking web design whets your appetite.
What you'll find here are a selection of my most recent and best pieces of work to date, all in glorious H.264 format (Quicktime). You could watch the individual promo's or you can catch the minute long showreel to get everything you need. Whilst there you can view the various tools of the trade I use, as well as get a little info on myself in the industry.
If you wish to get in touch, head on over to the contact page and leave your details in the email box. If you have something to say I want to hear it.
